If you have taken a look at the
Our Beliefs
page, you already know that Hope Chapel is as an interdenominational
fellowship and a member of the International Church of the Foursquare
Gospel. Our
location
is, as someone once referred to it, in the belt buckle of the Bible
Belt. However, you will find that we are a little different than most
churches.
Our church is a family, with a warm and casual atmosphere. We have a
"come as you are" approach to ministry, with little intent
on changing your outward appearance. Blue jeans are definitely welcome
here and you don't even have to wear socks, though cowboy boots are
also welcome.
Our church feels that we must reach out to the lost and dying world
around us without compromise. Jesus died to save the lost, no matter
how they were dressed. Paul stated that he has to become all things
to all men. We feel that in order to reach the lost, we must put aside
the facades and get to the heart of the matter.
So if you are looking for a church: where you are welcome as family;
where you can be yourself; where you don't have to play dress-up; where
the Word of God is taught; where the worship is free and from the heart,
then this just might be the place for you.
